Cauley Woodrow 34%
Chris David 12%

GK 13 D Stockdale

RB 27 S Riether
RCB 4 J Heitinga
LCB 33 D Burn
LB 15 K Richardson

RM 9 M Diarra
RCM 7 S Sidwell
LCM 10 L Holtby
LM 24 A Dejagah

RS 9 D Berbatov
LS 20 H Rodallega

(Six highest not selected plus substitute GK)

1 M Stekelenburg
4 P Senderos
8 P Kasami
10 B Ruiz
14 G Karagounis
25 C Woodrow
35 F Amorebieta

(Kasami has precedence over Hangeland owing to the fact that there was only one sub midfielder and two sub defenders already.)

Surprised that the goalkeeper contest wasn't that tight. After all, statistically Stekelenburg performed better and Stockdale had some absolute howlers (Hull City 6 - 0 Fulham; Manchester City 5 - 0 Fulham), so surprised it was a Stocko whitewash.

I'm not too shocked with the defending result, but I am shocked at the lack of popularity for Hangeland, Riise, and Hughes, and the astounding popularity of Amorebieta and Senderos!

Amazed as to how Diarra got so many votes. He was non-existent. Surprised Sidwell didn't cakewalk it and surprised Dejagah did as well as he did. Alarmed, however, that Kvist and Taarabt didn't get nearly as many as they ought to have got, and also surprised at Karagounis's popularity.

I agree with Berbatov but I was surprised judging general public opinion. Hugo Rodallega was fair enough, but Bryan Ruiz on 40% and Cauley Woodrow on 34%?? They only got two goals in the Premier League between them!! Amazed that Mitroglou only got 2%, I would have thought he would have done a little better.

The right result?
